In 2020, Fire Fighters Local 311 convened a committee with the goal of planning and constructing a memorial to honor those we have lost in the line of duty over the course of our history.  The stated purpose of the memoria is:

To pay respect, honor, and remembrance to the members of Fire Fighters Local 311 and members of the City of Madison Fire Department who have paid the ultimate sacrifice, and for the families who continue to mourn and cherish their memory.
