Joey’s Song ( www.joeyssong.org ) is a Madison based charity that raises money to find treatments for our friends and neighbors fighting epilepsy. Joey’s Song was established in 2010 after 4 year old Joseph Gomoll lost his lifelong battle with epilepsy. The money we raise goes to fund research grants and patient services in our fight against epilepsy. Joey’s Song is 100% volunteer with no paid staff.
Our main fundraising vehicle is our annual benefit concert. We are scheduled to hold the next one on January 8th, 2022 at The Sylvee in Madison. Our line-up this year features Rock N Roll Hall Famers, Grammy winners and Top 40 hitmakers. On our radar for this year are members of Garbage, Cheap Trick, REM, Soul Asylum, Fountains of Wayne, Big Star and other bands. PLUS this year one of our hosts will be Charlie Berens, the man behind The Manitowoc Minute. All live on the Sylvee stage.
In conjunction with our national sponsors, Joey's Song is donating over 750 tickets to the front line workers and our first responders as a thank you for all you do everyday and especially for the sacrifices you all have made the last 18 months keeping us safe. We have 125 pairs of tickets available to the members of the Local 311 and 125 pairs of tickets to the members of police association. These tickets are free to members and are available on a first come, first served basis. Please only request tickets if you plan to go. To request tickets simply email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org and she will transfer the tickets via Ticket Master
